Tamsefikation is exactly what it sounds like, once you break it apart. Tams, because it's my name, and it's a unique one. Fika — a Swedish word for the intentional pause that makes room for real connection, not just another coffee break squeezed between tasks. And the -ation at the end is an echo of Vacationing Life, the guiding principle behind everything I've built — the idea, often attributed to Seth Godin, that you should stop planning your next vacation and instead build a life you don't need to escape from.
I've run on this exact system since 2007. It carried me through law school, the bar exam, a wedding, a honeymoon, a pregnancy, toddlers — and it's carrying me now through driver's ed and a teenager, right alongside a business that turned 15 this same year. Team Infrastructure was never just “my business team.” It's my life team — Team Human and Team Tech, working together, on purpose.
